Deputy Minister Boitumelo Moloi hosts Employer Session and Career Fair in Thohoyandou, 27 to 28 Jul

The Deputy Minister of Employment and Labour Boitumelo Moloi, will address and engage employers and work seekers during the Employers Session and Career Fair to be held in Thohoyandou from 27 - 28 July 2023.

The Employer session aims to discuss labour market issues, including growth prospects with the potential to create jobs and clarify any strategic policy issues that can enhance employment creation in the province.

The Career Fair held under the theme “Pathways to quality career development” will create an opportunity for work seekers to meet with prospective employers and other organisations or departments that can assist with their placement in different employment or learning opportunities.

The Employment Counsellors within the Department of Employment and Labour will be providing their expertise in training work seekers on job hunting skills, CV writing, and interview preparation to attract prospective employers and networking.

Work seekers are encouraged to bring their identity documents and updated curriculum vitae for registration in the department’s Employment Services of South Africa (ESSA) database.

Details of the Career Fair are as follows:
Date: 27 July 2023 for Work Seekers
          28 July 2023 for Tertiary Students (Universities and TVET Colleges)
Venue: Vhembe TVET College, Makwarela Campus
Time: 08:00 – 16:00
