Deputy Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Bernice Swarts to host Youth Month commemoration event at Belgravia High School Hall in Athlone in Cape Town on 30 June 2023
The Deputy Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Bernice Swarts will on Friday – 30 June 2023 - host a Youth Month Commemoration event at Belgravia High School Hall in Athlone in Cape Town, Western Cape. The theme for the event is "Accelerating youth economic emancipation for a sustainable future”.
Deputy Minister Swarts will use the event to handover certificates to 160 EPWP- National Youth Service (NYS) Learners who were trained in various Artisan trades such as electrical, plumbing, and brick-laying skills.
The Deputy Minister will also handover furniture to the youth centres in Cape Town and also host a prayer and candlelight ceremony to remember young people who lost their lives.
