The Deputy Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE), Ms Bavelile Hlongwa (MP) will host Women’s Month Community Outreach Engagements in support of the National Women’s Month from 6-10 August 2019 in the North-West Province. The engagements are at promoting career and economic opportunities within the minerals and energy sector. The engagements will further promote the health and safety of women in mines as well as their meaningful participation in the sector.
The Deputy Minister will also conduct a symbolic electrification switch on programme in the Bojanala District Municipality.
