In a move to strengthen local government communication, the North West Department of Local Government and Traditional Affairs will on Tuesday 17 September 2013 launch the Local Government Communicators Forum (LGCF) at Mmabatho Palms Hotel at 10h00.
The LGCF will be made up of Communicators from both Provincial and Local Government and will serve as a platform to strategise for local government communication, share information and iron out communication matters as well as share lessons learnt and best practices.
The LGCF will also provide for a strategic roundtable discussion on managing the rapid changes in government communications technologies in the public sector. The aim is to provide public sector communication leaders an opportunity to learn strategies and discuss techniques for managing in the evolving communication landscape.
