A high-powered delegation from the Department of Labour (DoL) will this morning (November 19) visit the scene of the calamitous shopping mall accident in Tongaat near Durban.
The delegation will be led by Acting Director-General Sam Morotoba. He will be accompanied by Department of Labour's Deputy Director-General of Inspection and Enforcement Services Thobile Lamati and the Department's public entity responsible for occupational injuries, Compensation Fund's Commissioner Shadrack Mkhonto.
The visit follows the collapse of the Tongaat Mall in KwaZulu-Natal yesterday (November 18) in which dozens of workers were believed to have been trapped.
