The Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation and the Department of Education in collaboration with basketball and table tennis will be hosting the provincial Top School Finals in Bloemfontein.
The Top School Finals will be hosted as follows:

The third code is gymnastics of which the Top Schools Final has already been hosted in March this year. The finalists of these tournaments were determined through a process of leagues in the five districts of the Province.
The school that wins the provincial final will represent the province at the National Schools Championships on the 10 to16 December 2013. This process serves as a build up towards the National Schools Finals and the teams that wins is expected to go through the scientific training at the LTDCs and the High Performance Centre for preparations of the finals.
