The Gauteng Department of Community Safety in partnership with Olievenhoutbosch SAPS will on Wednesday, 9 October 2013, conduct a crime awareness road show in Olievenhoutbosch and surrounding areas. The purpose of the road show is to create awareness and educate the community on issues of safety. The focus will be on assault, domestic violence, substance abuse particularly nyaope and alcohol as well as robbery which is prevalent in the area.
Officials from the department and members of the SAPS will interact with community members on safety issues at the identified hotspots such as Olievenhoutbosch Extension 19, Extension 21 and Extension 23.
