The Department of Education in KwaZulu-Natal has noted with serious concern malicious rumors being spread around the Zululand District that the Worlds Aids Day commemoration event which is planned by the Department of Education in the Province has been postponed.
The MEC for Education in KwaZulu-Natal, Ms Neliswa Peggy Nkonyeni is still going to be a keynote Speaker at the event planned for Sunday the 1st and the event is going ahead as planned. The Department condemns in the strongest possible terms these attempts to disorganise such an important Government event. The details of the event are as follows:
