The Department of Defence (DOD) will host a Choral Music Competition on 2 to 3 October 2013 at Thaba Tshwane City Hall, Pretoria from 09h00. Chief of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) authorised the presentation of the annual DOD Choral Music Competition to cultivate the love for music and promote morale amongst its members.
The SANDF choirs from all different Services (Army, Air Force, Navy and Military Health Service) will compete in this prestigious Departmental Choral Music Competition.
Members of the DOD like many South Africans take pleasure in the love of music in all variety. The DOD is mindful about the social aspect of its members, encourages and promotes talents in all forms amongst its members in order to encourage unity and cohesion.
