The Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation in partnership with the
South African Police Service (SAPS), has over the past months staged the
Hlasela Games which are intended to wage a war against crime in our
communities. On Saturday 7 December 2013, the games will continue in the
Tokologo Municipality (Hertzogville).
The tournament will consist of the following codes:
- Soccer
- Netball
- Volleyball
- Basketball
- Indigenous games
The games will also incorporate the launch of the following:
- 16 days of activism
- Disability month
- Tokologo Sport and Recreation Council
- Fight against gangsterism, drug and alcohol abuse
