Executive Mayor Cllr Mondli Gungubele will be delivering the State of the City Address (SoCA) at the Germiston Council Chamber on Wednesday, March 25.
Important issues relating to poverty alleviation programmes, job creation, inequality, infrastructure development and access to basic services such as water, sanitation and energy will be high on the mayor’s agenda.
“Residents will also hear about the municipality’s economic growth plan with a specific focus on revitalisation of the township economy, regeneration of the manufacturing sector as well as exposing new opportunities that come with the economic growth trajectory - the Aerotropolis,” explains mayoral Spokesperson, Zweli Dlamini.
