Competition Commission hosts media workshop for fourth Brics International Competition Conference in Durban, 3 Nov

South Africa’s competition authorities, the Competition Commission and Competition Tribunal, are hosting the 4th BRICS International Competition Conference in Durban on 12 to 13 November 2015, at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Convention Centre (Durban ICC).

The BRICS International Competition Conference takes place every two years and rotates amongst BRICS competition authorities. The first three conferences took place in Russia, China and India respectively.

Economic Development Department Minister, Mr Ebrahim Patel; eThekwini Executive Mayor, Hon James Nxumalo; KwaZulu-Natal Premier, Mr Senzo Mchunu and MEC of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Mr Mike Mabuyakhulu, will speak at the conference.

Amongst topics that will be discussed during the Media Workshop are: Order of proceedings, Conference Programme, Media Accreditation and all Media logistics for the conference.
