Community Safety, SAPS Occult Unit engage youth on issues of Satanism

The Gauteng Department of Community Safety in partnership with South African Police Service Occult Unit and Provincial Youth Crime Prevention Desk, will tomorrow, 4 October 2013, engage with various youth formations across the province on issues of Satanism.

This seeks to address the emerging and fast growing trend of Satanism particularly in and out of schools youth as they are often targeted as victims and sometimes perpetrators.

Satanism is linked to crime due to the common sacrificial religious practices that often leads to murder in order for members to be recognised in the cult.
