On 8 October 2013 the Deputy Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Mr Andries Nel, MP, will lead a delegation consisting of the Directors-General and senior officials of the Departments of Cooperative Governance and of Traditional Affairs to present the annual reports and financial statements of the two departments as well as briefings on a range of matters including the improvement of municipal audit outcomes to the Portfolio Committee on Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs.
The meeting will take place on 8 October 2013 at 9h00 in Room V475, Old Assembly Building.
Later in the day Deputy Minister Nel will participate in a debate in the National Council of Provinces on a report on visits to all nine provinces by the NCOP during Provincial Week held from 15 - 19 April 2013.
The debate will focus on the need to speed up socio-economic advancement in all communities.
