City of Ekurhuleni opens disaster management offices in Kempton Park, 9 Dec

Kempton Park is home to the O. R. Tambo International Airport, thus it is imperative that the town have speedy access to disaster management services.

With this in mind, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality will tomorrow, 9 December officially open a brand new Disaster Management Satellite Office.   

The satellite office will serve all communities in and around Kempton Park including Boksburg North, Primrose, Edenvale and Tembisa.

According to Ekurhuleni spokesperson Themba Gadebe, the satellite office will render a range of pre-disaster and post-disaster activities as mandated by the Disaster Management Act.

Journalists will be taken on tour of the facility.
