The MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Mr Dan Kgothule, will officially launch the Free State School Sport Controlling Body at an occasion that will be hosted as follows:

The Free State School Sport Controlling Body is a structure that has been established from code committees, regional committees and district committees constituted by various schools in the Free State. All school sport related matters will be coordinated through this structure to ensure synergy and meaningful participation by all learners in sport at school level.
The establishment of the structure is a collaborative effort between the Free State Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation as well as the Department of Education. Minister of Sport and Recreation, Reverend Makhenkesi Stofile will deliver a keynote speech at the event.
