The Eastern Cape Department of Transport will host its annual provincial driver of the year competition from 19 to 21 August 2010 in the Chris Hani district, Queenstown.
The competition which includes heavy duty driving like trucks and busses pits the best drivers from around the province and tests them in a series of challenges to determine the best drivers to represent the province at the national competition.
This year's competitors will have a lot to live up and aspire to as the Eastern Cape has had a strangle hold on the National title, having won it in the last two editions.
An award ceremony for the successful drivers will take place on 21 August 2010 at 17h00 at the military base, Komani Park.
This team will represent the province in the national competition to be held in October 2010 in Gauteng
