Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Thandi Tobias Pokolo will attend the Southern African Development Community 10th ministerial task force on regional economic integration that will be held tomorrow, 13 August in Windhoek, Namibia.
In 2008 SADC adopted a free trade agreement (FTA) which is being currently being as the first phases of the regional integration process.
Ministers will discuss the ways of deepening integration in SADC and ways of promoting intra regional trade.
The minister meeting will be followed by the summit of the Heads of States on Saturday whereby Namibia will take over the chair of SADC from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
