The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Mr Mduduzi Manana, MP, will be hosting a send-off ceremony for fifty two (52) scholarship recipients who will be departing for China at the end of the month.
The ceremony will be held at University of South Africa (UNISA), Gauteng Province on Monday, 24 August 2015. The scholarship recipients will undergo a pre-departure orientation on the same day. The scholarships offers for the 2015 academic year have been offered by the Chinese Government for suitably qualified students.
The Department receives scholarships from various foreign governments. These are opportunities targeting South African youth as part of advancing the skills development agenda.
