The purpose of the research day is to establish health researches actively pursued by the research fraternity of the University of the Free State and the Free State Department of Health. The output of the research day will enable the Provincial Health Research Committee to establish strong research points and expand the process to achieve “A long and Healthy Life for the Free State Population”
This will also provide an opportunity to widely disseminate health research conducted in the Free State and to facilitate linkage between research and policy development. Results from clinical research, public health research, monitoring and evaluation will be presented.
