Urgent media accreditation for the conference on the integrated criminal justice system and the review of the criminal procedure act
Members of the media are kindly requested to provide their details for an accreditation process for the Conference on the implementation of the Integrated Criminal Justice System programme and the Review of Criminal Procedure Act, 1977, scheduled to take place from 27-29 February 2024.
The objective of the conference is to take stock of and reflect critically on the progress in the implementation of the Justice Crime Prevention and Security (JCPS) 7-Point Plan to promote an integrated and modernised Criminal Justice System. This conference will also provide a platform for robust engagements on the criminal justice system and the review of Criminal Procedure Act, 1977.
The delegates will be afforded a platform to critically engage the preliminary findings and the proposals of the Criminal Procedure Reform Project and propose recommendations to address the identified gaps and challenges.
