The NYDA is delighted to announce, and congratulate, the 10 nominees for the Young Entrepreneurs in Agriculture Awards, who will be invited to showcase their products and services at the African Farmers Workshop and Expo in August.
The Chairman of the NYDA will personally honour these nominees at the Gala Dinners and Awards Ceremony, taking place 16 August at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec. This high-profile event attended by government dignitaries, and key stakeholders within the agricultural sector will be the platform to announce to the media the three winners within this competition.

The AgriYouth lndaba will take place on 15 August, within the African Farmers Workshop and Expo, and we welcome all young entrepreneurs to attend the lndaba.
Subjects to be presented and discussed include the current state of youth in agriculture, challenges the youth face entering into the farming sector, and opportunities and attractions within the agricultural sector.
Keynote speakers include:

- Wendy Ntsoketsi, Development of Youth in Agriculture
- Obert Mathivha, Managing Director.
Commercial Agricultural Youth Chamber Kopano Mohapi, Blue Disa Energy Farm, will be giving an inspiring testimony on how he made it in agriculture, and will be available for question and answers.
