The Acting Chief Land Claims Commissioner; Mr Sibusiso Gamede cordially invites members of the media to a media briefing session to be held on 22 September 2010 at the Didimala Game Lodge in Bela Bela in the Limpopo province.
The briefing session will start from 13h00 until 14h00.
The media briefing follows the outcomes of a two day meeting that will be held by Regional Land Claim Commissioners on 21 to 22 September 2010.
Among issues that will be discussed, the briefing session will focus on the progress made regarding the finalisation of outstanding land claims and other key challenges.
Members of the media will also be briefed about the commission's plans for settling the outstanding claims in line with the Departments of Rural Development's mandate.
