SAPS to remember its fallen heroes
The Minister of Police, Mr Nkosinathi Nhleko, Deputy Minister, Ms Maggie M Sotyu and National Police Commissioner, General Riah Phiyega will host a National Commemoration Day event in memory of police officers who died in the line of duty in the last twelve months.
They will be joined by families and relatives of the deceased as well as management and members of the South African Police Service (SAPS) to pay respect by laying wreaths at the memorial site in honour of those who died serving and protecting the people of South Africa.
