Parliament, Tuesday 14 September 2010 – The Minister of Arts of Culture, the Honourable Ms Lulu Xingwana, will open the debate on National Heritage Day in the National Council of Provinces today.
Under the theme: “Celebrating our living human treasures and heritage”, members of the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) have been encouraged to wear their traditional attire in support of National Heritage Day, which is on 24 September.
An exhibition will also be on display from 12h00 outside the NCOP Chamber.
