Health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi will today, Friday lead a team of qualified health workers from his department to go and provide healthcare services at Chris Hani Baragwanath this afternoon.
The minister will be going there in his capacity as a trained medical doctor to provide health services and he will be working from the hospital's casualty unit.
Among the team, will also be the Director-General of the Department of Health Ms Precious Matsoso, who is a trained pharmacist. The team will also be made up of doctors, pharmacists and nurses and are registered members with their respective professional bodies.
Members of the media are invited to join the minister at the Chris Hani Baragwanath this afternoon and conduct brief interviews on the impact of the strike action on service delivery.
