The MEC for Safety and Liaison, Honourable Ghishma Barry, will host a second 2010 Safety and Security summit to finalise the preparations for the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup.
The Department of Safety and Liaison is responsible for the convening of the safety and security work stream for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in the Eastern Cape. This includes, amongst others, ensuring the development and implementation of a safety and security plan.
The Summit will take place as follows:
