Members of the media are invited to the Anglo American Chairman’s Fund Maths and Science Awards (2009). The Deputy Minister of Basic Education Mr Enver Surty will give a keynote address.
The Anglo American Chairman’s Fund Maths and Science Excellence Awards are presented annually to 10 carefully selected public secondary schools which achieve extraordinary good matriculation results in maths and science.
The awards serve to encourage the efforts and successes of these schools and to recognise their teachers and learners for what they do in helping to build our country.
