Minister Mildred Oliphant receives 18th Employment Equity Report, 28 Jun

The Commission for Employment Equity (CEE) releases the 18th Employment Equity Report in an indaba to be held at Saint Georges Hotel in Johannesburg on the 28 June 2018

The Employment Equity Commission (CEE) will hand over this institution’s 18th Annual Report and the public register to the Minister of Labour Mildred Oliphant at St Georges Hotel on Thursday 28 June 2018. The report is released 20 years since the inception of the Employment Equity Act (EEA). This year the report will be followed by an Indaba whose theme is: 20 Years later – “Where to from here?”

The Indaba will be preceded by a presentation of the CEE report and a media conference. Thereafter an Indaba comprising of a panel discussion will ensue.

The Indaba will have a panel discussion which will discuss the Employment Equity Act (EEA) successes, failures and recommendations going forward. The panel discussion will comprise of speakers from organized labour, organized business, community representatives, Commission on Gender Equity (CGE) representatives, South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) and the Public Service Commission (PSC).
