EC Education MEC to announce 2014 matric results
The Honourable Member of the Executive Council for the Eastern Cape Department of Education, Mandla Makupula invites all members of the media to a media briefing for the official announcement and preliminary analysis of the 2014 Provincial National Senior Certificate Results to be held at the Education Leadership Institute, in Stirling, East London, at 09H00 on the 06th of January 2015.
The Quality Assurance Council, UMALUSI, has after rigorous verification of all examination processes, declared the 2014 NSC examinations as free, fair and credible. This is a tribute to the continued rigour and integrity that has been the hallmark of the conduct of examinations in the Province.
On the same day, the Gala Dinner and ceremony to announce top achievers and the recipients of various bursaries and scholarship awards will be held at the International Convention Centre, Esplanade, East London at 16h00.
Members of the Executive Council, the provincial legislature Standing Committee on Education, parents of top achievers as well other special guest will attend the event.
