Freedom Park exhibits at MACUFE Arts Festival

Freedom Park together with other exhibitors, is exhibiting its products at Mangaung African Cultural Festival (MACUFE) Annual Festival until 11 October 2015. 

For the fourth time in a row Freedom Park, a heritage destination located in Capital City of South Africa (City of Tshwane), is participating at the Mangaung African Cultural Festival (MACUFE). Freedom Park’s team from Outreach Unit, will share information with guests who will visit the Stall which is situated at Park Street on the significance of Freedom Park on South African history, culture and spirituality.

Apart from creating awareness, informing, educating and motivating the visitors about Freedom Park, the outreach unit, will host special official guests from the office of the Free State Premier, and other community stakeholders to discuss about Freedom Park’s outreach programme in the Free State. Books on Freedom Park content, educational brochures and many other promotional materials will be distributed from the stall.

Not so long ago Freedom Park concluded a very comprehensive stakeholder consultative sessions which culminated into the formation of the Freedom Park Free State Committee to be launched soon. As part of its social responsibilities Freedom Park partnered with the Premier’s Office and the Provincial Department of Social Development to distribute food parcels,   clothes, blankets and books to the Boiketlong Old Age Home and Tshereletsong Child Youth Care Centre.

Visits by schools from all provinces is crucial and pertinent to Freedom Park, it is in this premise that Freedom Park has initiated a partnership between Free State Education Department to ignite educational tours to Freedom Park. Some of the most anticipated guests at the stall will be educations officials, learners and educators.
