Lighting of a torch of peace and the signing of a pledge by Parliamentarians to kick-start the 2014 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children

The media is invited to attend the lighting of a torch of peace and the signing of a pledge by Members of Parliament ahead of the Joint Sitting of the National Assembly and National Council of Provinces on the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children under the theme: Count Me In. Together moving a non-violent South Africa forward.
