The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa, on behalf of the Numbering Plan Implementation Stakeholders Forum, hereby gives notice to all licensed operators with numbering allocations/entitled to apply for the number allocations from the national numbering plan of their scheduled meeting.
This forum’s aim is to develop the Code of Conduct for Premium Rated Services as per regulation 25 of the Numbering Plan Regulations GG35737.
The forum will also discuss other numbering matters such as:
- toll free services framework
- caller Line identity
- harmonisation of Short codes
- non-geographic number portability in relation to Toll Free services and Premium Rated services.
The meetings will be hosted on a rotational basis amongst operators. The next meeting will take place on 6 August 2013 at the following venue:
