The media is invited to attend a briefing on an agreement reached between the police and unions on the payment of special duties to employees rendering policing during special events, 2010 FIFA World Cup tournament included.

It is anticipated that both South African Police Union (SAPU) and Police and Prison Civil Rights Union (POPCRU) will be in attendance.
