Media accreditation arrangements for upcoming government events
Government will be hosting various events and days of national importance in the next few months. These include Freedom Day celebrations, the National Orders and the 2014 Presidential Inauguration following the general elections on 7th May 2014.
Members of the media are advised that the pre-accreditation online registration process is now open and is accessible on https://www.gcis.gov.za/content/media-registration. The deadline for the pre- accreditation process for the aforementioned events is Monday 31 March 2014 at 16h00. All media interested in covering these events are advised to register online.
Government will make further announcements relating to specific events as soon as the details are available.
