Tomorrow, the MEC of Social Development, Dr Ivan Meyer, will visit the Macassar Sports Field Hall, which is temporarily housing 59 children after a fire destroyed their former home, the Lena Moravian Centre, an Early Childhood Development centre in Macassar. The aim of his visit is to show the department's support and to hand over some essential items.
About the fire at Lena Moravian Centre:
The incident happened last month, and both the property as well as the equipment was badly damaged.
