Dundee communities to give 2013/14 budget tips to MEC Ina Cronjé and are coached on how to spend wisely this festive season

The KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) MEC for Finance, Ms Ina Cronjé, in partnership with eNdumeni Municipality will engage the local residence in a bid to educate them about saving money during the Christmas holidays.

On this department’s Pre-Budget Roadshow, MEC Cronjé will also engage business sector and communities on the provincial budget process, which is one of the KZN Provincial Treasury initiatives to ensure that the public and the business sector participate in the provincial budget process to ensure that their government delivers services that address their needs.

The day will start with a business breakfast where business sector will get to hear about the opportunities that come with 2013/14 provincial budget in their area, and also get an opportunity to participate and to have input in the budget process. Culminating in the Community Imbizo where members of the public will be acclimatised with the budget process and also be educated on spending wisely this festive season. They will also get an opportunity to give budget tips to MEC Cronjé.
