Property Valuers Profession Act 47 of 2000

The Property Valuers Profession Act 47 of 2000 intends:

• to provide for the establishment of a juristic person to be known as the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession;
• to provide for the registration of professionals, candidates and specified categories in the property valuation profession;
• to provide for the regulation of the relationship between the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession and the Council for the Built Environment; and
• to provide for matters connected therewith.  

Commencement

• 26 January 2001, except ss. 4 (1) and (2) and 27 , G 22023 of 26 January 2001
• 1 July 2005, Ss. 4 (1), (2) and 27, Gazette 27905 of 15 August 2005
