108 of 1998

The National Development Agency Act 108 of 1998 intends:

  • to establish a National Development Agency aimed at promoting an appropriate and sustainable partnership between the Government and civil society organisations to eradicate poverty and its causes;
  • to determine the objects and functions of the Agency;
  • to determine the manner in which it is to be managed and governed;
  • to regulate its staff matters and financial affairs; and
  • to provide for connected matters.
