The Unemployment Insurance Second Amendment Act 30 of 1986 intends:

  • to amend the Unemployment Insurance Act, 1966 [repealed in April 2002], so as
    • to empower the Director-General: Manpower in certain circumstances to raise loans for the unemployment insurance fund from private institutions; and
    • to abolish the arrangement for the payment by the said fund of the training expenses of a contributor; and
  • to provide for matters connected therewith.
