Join the conversation with the Minister in the Presidency for Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities Maite Nkoana-Mashabane on COVID19: A gendered perspective
The Minister in the Presidency for Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities Maite Nkoana-Mashabane will today, 15 April 2020, host a Webinar via Zoom to unpack how the global pandemic COVID-19 continues to have a disproportionate effect on vulnerable groups.
The Minister will be joined by the Deputy Minister in the Presidency: Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities Professor Hlengiwe Mkhize, and UNWOMEN Representative Ms Anne Githuku-Shongwe, on behalf of the UN Gender Leadership Team. Panelists will also comprise of: Rev Bafana Khumalo (Sonke Gender Justice); Ms Marlene le Roux (Presidential Working Group on Disability); Dr Vuyo Mahlati (South African Women in Dialogue); Dr Shaheda Omar (Teddy Bear Clinic); and Dr Zubeida Dangor (National Shelter Movement).
The session to be moderated by Ms. Mmabatho Ramagoshi.
