Minister Skweyiya to host Social Development MINMEC

The Minister of Social Development, Dr Zola Skweyiya, will on Friday, 23
February 2007, host a meeting of the Ministers Council for Social Development,
which brings together the Minister and MECs (MINMEC) responsible for social
development in the provinces.
The meeting will discuss Social Development priorities as outlined in the
State of the Nation Address, and will focus on programmes aimed at enhancing
social security and social welfare services in the sector.
