Education and Training (ABET) achievements

The Western Cape Education Department will be acknowledging and rewarding
the achievements of adult learners this evening Thursday, 22 March 2007, 19h00
at a presentation ceremony at the Cape Teaching Institute (former teacher
training college) in Nooiensfontein Road, Kuils River.
The event will celebrate the achievement of adult learners and centres in
the 2006 ABET Level 4 and Senior Certificate examinations. The ceremony will
complement our annual presentation of awards to top achievers in the matric
exams at schools.
Our experience to date has shown that the annual awards for adults provide
interesting human interest stories of adult learners achieving against all
odds. We are sure that this will be the case again this year.
