The MEC for Arts, Culture and Tourism in KwaZulu-Natal, Mrs Weziwe Thusi,
will tomorrow, handover certificates to 51 students who have graduated in the
Hospitality Business Skills Training and Tourism Enterprise Programmes. The
annual programmes are aimed at equipping tour operators, accommodation
establishment owners and tourism students with high level skills in the
hospitality industry as part of ensuring high quality standards. Participants
undergo an intensive three month training programme.
The programme is done collaboratively with the Department of Education
(DoE), Further Education and Training (FET) Colleges and municipalities.
