System of Innovation at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research

President Thabo Mbeki will meet with major role players in the National
System of Innovation tomorrow, 2 March 2007, at the Council for Scientific and
Industrial Research in Pretoria at 14h00.
This interaction will create the opportunity for The President to explore
some of the key challenges and achievements of the science and technology
sector.
The CSIR visit will also provide a platform to showcase extraordinary work
achieved through joint initiatives with the Department of Science and
Technology and private sector companies, as part of the national effort of
achieving sustainable socio-economic development.
The President will also embark on a tour of the CSIR facilities and the
Innovation Hub.
