The Minister of Finance Trevor Manuel, MP will address a sitting of the
Western Cape Provincial Parliament on Tuesday, 18 September 2007 from
14h15.
The Minister and members of the provincial Parliament will engage in robust
debate about the province's expenditure trends and outputs in service delivery.
This comes at the back of Minister Manuel's address in the National Council of
Provinces during the tabling of the Provincial Budgets and Expenditure Review
on 5 September 2007.
This publication provides an in-depth analysis of spending trends in the
provincial government sphere over five years.
Members of the media are invited to a short briefing with Minister Manuel
and MEC Brown at 13h20 before the sitting.
