Monetary Fund (IMF)/World Bank meetings

The Minister of Finance, Trevor A Manuel, MP, will address the media about
the upcoming IMF/World Bank annual meetings to be held in Singapore later this
month. The Boards of Governors of both the IMF and World Bank meet annually to
discuss the work of their respective institutions and decisions are made on how
current international monetary issues should be addressed.
Minister Manuel will outline some of the key issues that the South African
government will be taking to the annual meetings.
