Honouring the elderly for a just cause

The Ministry for Safety and Security and the South African Police Service
(SAPS) is honouring a group of dedicated and indefatigable elderly women and
men from Soweto, who have heeded the call to "Mobilise Communities Against
Crime" in their areas.

The afore-mentioned occasion will be addressed by the Ministry for Safety
and Security, the management of the SAPS and leaders of various community
structures.

A photo session and selected interviews will be granted on request.
