University of Stellenbosch presents a number of short courses in
renewable and sustainable energy studies to enhance the capacity in the country
to implement projects in this area.

These courses form part of the taught master programmes but each
module’s week of contact is also registered with Engineering Council of South
Africa (ECSA) so that participants from industry can typically earn 4,0 CPD

The overall objective of this initiative is to develop and enhance
national capacity in renewable and sustainable energy in support of accelerated
and shared economic growth within the area of sustainable energy. This will be
achieved by building the human resource capacity, create and disseminate
