S Moloto on resignation of advisor

Mokobi to step down as an advisor

26 March 2007

Mr Jack Mokobi, currently political advisor to Limpopo Premier Sello Moloto
will step down at the end of March this year. Since 1994–2002, Mr Mokobi has
served the democratic government in various capacities including heading the
Provincial Communication Services. Premier Moloto appointed him as advisor in
2005. By mutual agreement Mokobi will step down to pursue other interests
outside government. Both Premier Moloto and Mokobi feel that he (Mokobi) has
fulfilled his task and mandate and the time has come for him to move on.

However Mokobi, like other loyal citizens of the province and the country,
will remain available to serve government in general and Limpopo province in
particular, in various capacities as and when he is required to do so in the
various public-private partnership initiatives and in various voluntary and
statutory government advisory boards and committees.

"We will continue to tap on his skills and experiences as a province from
time to time. He has gained valuable skills and competencies both in government
and the private sector over all these year which we will need to drive
development and service delivery forward" said Premier Moloto.
